beatallica一看名字就知道是一支以恶搞meatallica与beatles为己任的乐队。

这支乐队的主唱jaymz lennfield（想想james)和吉他手krk(想想krik)在一次模仿音乐会上相遇了，两个人神差鬼使的决定把meatallica与beatles的音乐和为一体，于是一支疯狂恶搞的乐队诞生了。

这支乐队也许是因为from fans to fans的状态，很受乐迷的欢迎。这时候好莱坞电影中从来不缺的反面角色出现了-sony公司认为beatallica的行为侵犯了它的版权，要求beatallica停止活动，关闭网站，beatallica的活动跌至了低谷。这是好莱坞电影中从来不缺的正面人物也出现了-meatallica的鼓手lars ulrich，lars出面与唱片公司斡旋，终于使beatallica逃脱了sony的枷锁。

beatallica成功的把很多meatallica与beatles的经典名曲结合到一起，比如meatallica的the things the should not be与beatles的let it be变成了the things that should not let it be，meatallica的ride the lightning与beatles的ticket to ride变成了everbody’s got a ticket to ride except of me and my lightning。

而我最喜欢的是那首改编自beatles的hey jude的hey dude，歌词写的十分可爱：

本来的基调中加入了浓浓的金属味，比如那句标准的Hey, dude-don’t be fuckin’ ‘fraid，让人忍俊不禁，当然还有诸如New wave of British heavy metal iz in your heart之类金属迷的心声，难怪有那么多的乐迷支持他们，因为他们来自乐迷做出来的东西自然最贴近乐迷。

特别要说的是乐队的技术也不差，可以说是票友中的炫技派：），而且乐队的音乐全是免费下载，并且不出售cd赚钱（估计是被唱片公司整怕了）。
